SAP FICO Consultant – European Rollout

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team and lead SAP rollout projects across Europe. This role requires strong knowledge of SAP Finance and Controlling processes and hands-on experience in rollout or deployment projects.

Fluency in English is essential, as you will work closely with both local and regional teams to ensure smooth implementation and effective business communication.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver SAP FICO rollout activities across European countries, ensuring compliance with both global and local business requirements.

  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure full system integration.

  • Conduct gap analyses, configuration, testing, and documentation for new rollouts.

  • Support data migration, validation, and go-live activities.

  • Communicate with German-speaking stakeholders to gather requirements and provide expert advice.

  • Provide training and support to local key users after rollout.

  • Maintain clear documentation of configuration, processes, and project steps.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP FICO, including hands-on configuration and rollout experience.

  • Proven experience working on European rollout projects or multi-country SAP deployments.

  • Strong understanding of Finance and Controlling processes (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting).

  • Good knowledge of European localisation requirements, especially in Germany.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and within multicultural project teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

  • Knowledge of Central Finance or Global Template implementation.

  • SAP or project management certification.
