Kyriba Functional Consultant (Treasury Systems / ERP)

Work Model: Remote

Engagement: 60%–100%Contract: 6–12 months (mission expected to run 2+ years)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Kyriba Functional Consultant to join our Treasury & Finance Systems team. Under the supervision of our internal Kyriba expert, you will be responsible for both Run & Build activities: daily operational support, troubleshooting, configuration, and continuous improvement of Kyriba modules used across the organization.

This role plays a key part in ensuring the stability and optimization of Cash Management, Liquidity, Payments, Cash Accounting, and Financial Transactions, as well as integrations with banks and ERP systems (SAP today, Oracle in the future).

Key Responsibilities

1. Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Configure and administer the Kyriba repository, including bank accounts, cash-pooling structures, and liquidity settings.

  • Manage bank connectivity (protocols, formats, communication channels) and integrations with ERP systems.

  • Monitor statement imports/exports and resolve errors, rejections, or connectivity incidents.

2. Cash Accounting

  • Set up accounting schemes and automated postings in Kyriba.

  • Configure and maintain export interfaces to SAP (and Oracle in the future).

  • Support month-end and reconciliation activities related to treasury accounting data.

3. Payment Management

  • Configure payment formats and bank communication standards (MT, SEPA, SWIFT, ISO 20022).

  • Test and validate payment flows, including approval workflows, signature rules, and security settings.

  • Provide technical assistance in case of rejected or blocked payments.

4. Financial Transactions

  • Configure treasury instruments (FX, MM, loans, investments, derivatives).

  • Support day-to-day transaction lifecycle management.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of treasury position data.

5. Cross-Functional & Support Activities

  • Provide functional and technical support to internal users on a daily basis.

  • Introduce new Kyriba features, UI updates, and best practices to end users.

  • Participate in onboarding and integration of new banks, including testing and validation.

  • Write functional specifications and contribute to documentation for system enhancements.

  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Treasury, IT, and external partners.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with Kyriba configuration or another major TMS (e.g., SAP TRM, FIS Integrity, Quantum) with willingness to specialize in Kyriba.

  • Strong understanding of Cash Management, Liquidity, Payments, Cash Accounting, and treasury operations.

  • Familiarity with payment standards and banking protocols (SWIFT MT/MX, SEPA, ISO 20022).

  • Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a strong advantage.

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work in Run & Build environments and manage priorities effectively.

  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with end users.

  • Professional working proficiency in English.
