Join us and create core systems at one of the largest insurance companiesLocalization: Warsaw, hybrid model 1 x week in the office As a PL/SQL Developer you will be working for our client, a leading European insurance provider dedicated to innovation and building robust technological solutions. You will be a key member of the team responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing their core, large-scale systems built on Oracle technology. This role offers a unique opportunity to blend deep, hands-on PL/SQL development with high-level architectural design. You will focus on optimizing performance, engineering new database solutions, and ensuring the stability of mission-critical applications within the property insurance domain. Your expertise will directly shape complex systems that are fundamental to the client's business success and future growth.Your main responsibilities:Develop and maintain critical systems using Oracle and PL/SQL technologyDesign and implement efficient, scalable database solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve complex performance issues in Oracle environmentsCollaborate effectively with team members within an agile SCRUM frameworkParticipate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standardsCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentationImplement and thoroughly test new features and system enhancementsOptimize existing PL/SQL code for maximum performanceSupport the integration of PL/SQL applications with other enterprise systemsContribute to the continuous improvement of development processes​​​​You're ideal for this role if you have:At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining systems with Oracle technologyStrong, demonstrable proficiency in PL/SQL developmentProven experience working with Oracle FormsGood understanding of the Java programming language, particularly in the context of backend development and system integrationThe ability to work effectively in a team using an agile SCRUM methodologyA capacity for analytical thinking and creating non-standard solutionsProfessional experience working within the property insurance domainExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsStrong communication skills for effective team collaborationExperience with database or application migrationsWe offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
