The last few years have seen a significant increase in the importance of digital solutions in the Commerce area at Heineken. These IT solutions have become a vital component in supporting the company's revenue. To ensure that this trend is supported and the IT in this area continues to grow, the new Commerce DevOps Hub is being established. The newly created organization, being an integral part of the Global Digital & Technology Function, is tasked with maintaining, but most importantly developing (functionally and technologically) IT solutions supporting the Commerce area at Heineken. Commerce DevOps Hub is located in Kraków and will include highly qualified IT professionals with direct contribution to both the technological development of the Heineken Commerce and the Hub itself. As the Product Architect within Commerce Data, you immerse yourself in a collaborative agile squad alongside a business analyst, product owner, and implementation team, helping shape and build future-fit and scalable data infrastructure and pipelines ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your impact will extend beyond our largest operating companies, as you contribute to an expansive roadmap, converting into solution architecture specifications in line with data engineering standards, standardizing both technical and business perspectives, and reducing total cost of ownership. You will own the end-to-end architecture and provides the technology capabilities supporting the global Commerce products and you drive the technology decisions. Here's what you will do: ensuring consistency of the overall solution ( Data Foundation for Commerce )working with the Product Owner to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate program and platform/application requirementsformulating the architecture & design based on functional and non-functional requirements, balancing the goals and constraints on the solutionensuring solution design and technical decisions conforms to overall architectural (Domain, Enterprise) vision, principles, and technical roadmap standardsconducting continuous improvement analysis on existing application architectures and identifies architectural optimizationsmaintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluating them for applicabilityensuring the overall HEINEKEN standards and best practices are adhered by (i.e. Quality, Compliance)managing the quality of the solution and technical debtensuring the delivered system and services is consistent with the agreed architecture and meet the business requirementsdriving the technical validation and ensuring the services of the technology vendors meet the business requirementsensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to develop, build, deploy and support the Product are embedded in the teamunderstanding the Product Owner’s needs and converting them into solution architecture specifications and services in line with overall architectural standards and roadmapsshaping global governance frameworks and elevating operating company capabilitiesforging relationships globally to enhance solution maturity, both technically and business-wisetackling data architecture, ensuring seamless data flows for enhanced journeys, and identifying opportunities for process and technology improvements that have direct business impactplanning governance and planning for solution and capability maturity, continually assessing people, processes, and technology - the operating model for sustained excellencezooming out and view the solution as part of the wider D&T architecture to plan ahead in terms of technology and data architectureimplement good practices, coding standards and modern architecture for DataSecOps.manage product budgets, incl. outsourcing partnersorganize and / or participate in hackathons. You are a good match if you: have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldhave in-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience (> 8 yrs) in data engineering with >3 years in architecture roleproficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scalahands-on experience with data processing frameworks/ tools such as Apache sparkstrong understanding of distributed computing, data modeling, and database technologies (e.g. SQL, No SQL)experience with cloud platforms and services particularly Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factoryfamiliarity with Azure services for data ingestion, transformation, and visualization, such as Azure Event Hubs, Azure Stream Analytics and PowerBIknowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and their integration with Azure services.experience handling, managing big data using Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, Apache Kafkaexperience serving data with REST APIs and GraphQL (Apollo Client and Apollo GraphOS)work withing set Enterprise Architecture guidance and boundariescan influence stakeholders as well as balance viewspragmatic, and collaborative team player.#LI-HYBRID
