Due to our ongoing growth and the large number of recruitment projects we undertake for our partners, we are currently looking for:Tech Lead BigDataResponsibilities:Lead technical design and architecture within Enterprise Data Platform group. Identify and design solutions to be built and/or modifiedDesign and develop new and modify programs that meet user requirements, conform to departmental standards in terms of technology as well as the newest market trendsParticipate in walk-throughs which review program specifications, source code, and all technical supporting documentation, including screens/reports. Provide feedback in accordance with team standards and guidelinesCode and test changes to programs and their associated components, including (but not limited to) screens, services, modules, queries, and stored proceduresParticipate in implementation of changes, enhancements, and newly developed programsDevelop unit and integration tests that thoroughly exercise logic to ensure application functionality and performance about business requirementsProvide oversight in DevOps area – helping with stabilization of CD/CI processes for new projects and introducing enhancements within existing solutionsConduct technical research and provide recommendationsGuide and provide training to other team members Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience7+ years of experience in an IT, preliminary on hands on development Strong knowledge of architectural principles, frameworks, design patterns and industry best practices for design and developmentStrong hands-on experience with programming languages - JavaExperience with Oracle database engine with PL/SQL and performance tuning of SQL QueriesExperience in designing efficient and robust ETL/ELT workflows and schedulersReal project experience as a data wrangler/engineer across design, development, testing, and production implementation for Big Data projects, processing large volumes of structured/unstructured dataExperience working with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologiesNice to have:Hands-on experience with Spark and KafkaEnd-to-end development life-cycle support and SDLC processesWorking experience with Data Virtualization tools such as Dremio/DenodoKnowledge of Machine Learning libraries and exposure to Data MiningWorking experience with AWS/Azure/GCPWorking experience in a Financial industry Offer:Private medical care (dental care + vision care plan)Life insuranceSports cardTraining & learning opportunitiesLanguage course co-financingAnnual bonusEmployee referral program
