About the Role

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Global Lead Buyer – Software to join our global procurement team. In this role, you will lead sourcing strategies for software categories, manage key supplier relationships, and drive cost optimization while ensuring quality and service excellence. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across multiple countries and support major customer projects, making a significant impact on global procurement performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for software categories based on internal and external analysis.

  • Lead negotiations and manage global supplier relationships, including contract development and compliance.

  • Execute or oversee RFP processes and ensure transparent vendor selection.

  • Drive cost optimization and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvements year-over-year.

  • Support sales and country purchasing organizations for major customer projects.

  • Ensure effective communication and deployment of sourcing actions across countries and activities.

  • Monitor implementation of strategies, contract compliance, and internal customer satisfaction.

  • Consolidate global vendor relationships and drive best practices across regions.

  • Manage procurement projects and contribute to continuous process improvements.


Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in software procurement.

  • Strong software IT knowledge.

  • Proven ability to review and negotiate contracts with minimal legal support.

  • Experience managing senior-level supplier relationships.

  • Strong analytical skills, including commercial modeling and cost base analysis.

  • Ability to resolve complex problems and mitigate risks through strategic planning.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
