AI Lead Engineer



Responsibilities


  • Design and build modern software applications.

  • Contribute to the architecture of high-performance solutions.

  • Prepare clear, maintainable, and comprehensive project documentation.

  • Participate in software deployments and collaborate with end users to diagnose and resolve issues.

  • Present proposed solutions and their implementations to clients.

  • Apply creative, innovative thinking throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Mentor and support junior developers within the team.


Requirements:


Data Science & Machine Learning

  • Degree in computer science or a related discipline.

  • 6+ years of experience with Python and full SDLC processes.

  • Solid understanding of statistics, linear algebra, and calculus.

  • Experience with ETL processes, building data pipelines, data modeling, and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.

  • Proficient with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.

  • Hands-on experience in NLP/NLU, including text processing, embeddings, NER, and semantic analysis.

  • Practical experience training and applying neural networks for NLP, computer vision, and related tasks.

  • Strong knowledge of Large Language Models, including transformers, tokenization, embeddings, and API integrations.

  • Skilled in prompt engineering and orchestration tools like LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, and Crew AI.

  • Experience implementing GenAI solutions with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, PGVector, Weaviate, FAISS, Milvus).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.


Software Development

  • Strong Python engineering skills with adherence to coding best practices and standards.

  • Experience with code reviews, debugging, testing, and version control workflows.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automation systems (GitHub, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience containerizing AI solutions and deploying them in enterprise environments.

  • Ability to implement logging, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.

  • Understanding of performance optimization, including asynchronous processing and multithreading.


Solution Architecture

  • Approximately 2 years of experience in a similar architectural role.

  • Strong analytical abilities using systems thinking and first-principles problem-solving.

  • Ability to design secure, scalable, and resilient end-to-end systems.

  • Expertise in API design, serverless systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, and container-based solutions.

  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns (messaging, pub/sub, event sourcing).

  • Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, secret management, and network security (VPCs, firewalls).

  • Experience building web applications and systems handling large-scale datasets.
