About your key responsibilities and impact:
  • Scouting and securing payment solutions/providers in key markets;
  • Evaluating payment providers based on fee rates, acceptance rates, approval rates, method availability, coverage, and merchant onboarding speed;
  • Attending and participating in industry events focused on payments, iGaming, and high-risk processing;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in the payments industry;
  • Acting as a liaison between GR8 Tech clients, internal stakeholders, and external payment providers;
  • Mastering clear, concise, and persuasive communication, both written and verbal;
  • Navigating cultural differences in key markets (EMEA, LATAM, APAC);
  • Building rapport and trust with clients and partners from diverse backgrounds;
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams (product, legal, compliance, sales, finance);
  • Coordinating activities, sharing relevant information, and providing feedback for successful implementation and delivery of Payment Gateway solutions;
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the payment and gambling industries;
  • Providing insights and recommendations for business development opportunities;
  • Crafting tailored proposals for high-risk clients in iGaming, Forex, Crypto/Web3, Dating, and Adult entertainment sectors;
  • Providing regular reports on business development activities, PSPs/Banks relationships, market trends, and performance metrics;
  • Analyzing data, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations;
  • Maintaining high ethical standards while identifying outstanding solutions in the high-risk iGaming space.

Essential professional experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, partnership management, or fintech consulting within the payments industry is a MUST;
  • Proven success in complex C-level negotiations, including all technical, compliance, legal, and commercial aspects;
  • Experience in creating new payment provider opportunities and connecting with key contacts, such as attending industry events, networking through professional associations, or leveraging social media platforms;
  • In-depth understanding of payment processing technologies, payment gateways, and industry regulations (AML, KYC, PCI-DSS, etc.);
  • Strong understanding of the payments industry, with a particular focus on iGaming and high-risk merchants;
  • Skilled in negotiating favorable contracts with payment providers, securing competitive rates and terms for GR8 Tech clients;
  • Ability to conduct market research, monitor trends, and analyze competitor activities to identify business opportunities;
  • Capability to explain to key stakeholders, such as GR8 Tech clients, potential leads, and the GR8 Tech sales team, why a particular payment solution/provider is the most suitable for the iGaming Operator and meets the needs of all parties involved;
  • Proficiency with corporate tools such as Google Workspace, Confluence, Jira, Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and HiBob;
  • At least Intermediate+ English level.

Desirable skills and personal features:
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish and nurture relationships with payment providers, banks, and stakeholders;
  • Resourcefulness in finding the right decision-makers within payment processors, even when traditional contact information is unavailable;
  • Adept at building rapport and establishing strong relationships with contacts, even in situations where initial outreach might be challenging;
  • Strong understanding of how to effectively navigate industry events to maximize networking opportunities and identify the right contacts, even with limited lead time or unconventional attendee lists;
  • Proven track record of attending and actively participating in industry-related events focused on payments, iGaming, and high-risk processing;
  • Experience in working events, including identifying key decision-makers, initiating conversations, and building rapport during conferences, trade shows, and networking events;
  • Strong problem-solving skills to analyze payment processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement innovative solution;
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of payment solutions;
  • Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with payment providers and financial institutions.
