Join us, and ensure flawless software delivery across complex systemsKraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (5 days/month in the office).As a Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead, you will be working for our client, a global financial organization modernizing a portfolio of .NET applications and MSSQL databases into a modular, cloud-native Azure architecture. You will be ensuring the delivery of high-quality software across legacy and modernized systems while enabling safe and frequent releases. Your focus will include designing test strategies, building robust automation frameworks, validating ETL and reporting flows, and mentoring team members. You will play a key role in driving reliability, reducing regressions, and supporting the incremental migration of applications and services.Your main responsibilities:Design and implement test strategies across unit, API, integration, contract, and E2E layersBuild and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and API harnessesIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with parallel and sharded executionValidate ETL and reporting flows, owning test data strategies and verificationStabilize legacy test suites and migrate them to modern frameworksLead root cause analysis, flake management, and reliability improvementsMentor QA and developers on testability, assertions, and best practicesPublish quality metrics, reports, and trends for stakeholdersYou're ideal for this role if you have:5+ years in QA / test automation with hands-on framework developmentStrong Playwright or Selenium expertise and test architecture experienceSolid API testing skills using Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or k6Good coding skills in TypeScript or C# and scripting (PowerShell/Bash)Experience integrating automation into Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions CI/CDPractical SQL skills for MSSQL test data setup and validationExperience with ETL (SSIS) and reporting (SSRS) tools and testing flowsStrong testability, observability, and debugging skills (logs, App Insights)English B2 proficiency for technical communication and documentationExperience leading QA activities and mentoring team membersIt is a strong plus if you have:Power BI report testing and model validation with DAX familiarityExperience with Databricks / Spark for testing data pipelinesPact / contract testing and OpenAPI validation experiencek6 / JMeter for basic performance baselinesAwareness of infrastructure as code (Terraform / Bicep) for ephemeral test environmentsWe offer you:ITDS Business Consultants is involved in many various, innovative and professional IT projects for international companies in the financial industry in Europe.
