Actuarial Consultant

- developing and implementing tools and processes for the company with a focus on quantitative methods
- conducting analyses and improving the risk calculation processes
- preparing risk reports and analyses for management and senior leadership
- developing scenarios and stress tests to assess the impact of risks on the company
- collaborating with other departments such as actuarial, investment management, controlling, accounting and finance to assess and monitor risks
- supporting the implementation of regulatory requirements related to risk management (e.g. Solvency II review)
- fluent English and German
- university degree in mathematics, computer science or comparable education
- professional experience in Life and/or Health insurance in one of the following fields: risk management, actuarial, statistics, IFRS17 or ALM
- programming skills ideally in R, VBA, Matlab
- experience in data models and data processing
- understanding business requirements and implementation of those
- very good communication skills and a strong team spirit
- ability to work independently
- proactive approach to work
- willingness to travel abroad (once-twice per quarter, 2/3 days)
