About the project

Collaborating with the developers, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of solutions aimed at enhancing the database stack. The company is a global leader in electronic payments, providing innovative technological solutions for the financial sector. It specializes in delivering advanced payment services that support businesses in executing secure and efficient transactions worldwide.

Your responsibilities
  • Working on robustness improvement projects
  • Participating in designing, implementing, and operating solutions to enhance the database stack together with developers
  • Enhancing and automating database operations
  • Developing the monitoring and alerting stack for the application databases
  • Working on daily operational tasks, including database change management, query fine-tuning, and troubleshooting
  • Providing tools to developers to become autonomous in their daily data operations
  • Participating in rotating on-call duties
Our requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of Microsoft SQL Server experience in a HA environment
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server in a high-availability setup
  • Skills in SQL queries, performance tuning, and analysis
  • Knowledge of PowerShell
  • Good knowledge of various Git flows
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Fluent Polish required
  • Residing in Poland required
