This team plays a critical role in ensuring data governance and quality, spearheading data initiatives across divisions. Role Overview:


The Data Office team within Corporate Treasury Engineering is responsible for the governance and quality of all data processes, including collection, persistence, and distribution. This role also involves working on cross-team data uplift projects essential for Corporate Treasury's data landscape.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand data requirements across Corporate Treasury.
  • Identify data gaps, consolidation, and uplift opportunities.
  • Collaborate with multiple data consumers to ensure data requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with data providers to source relevant data for Corporate Treasury.
  • Create logical data models to represent financial assets accurately.
  • Define and enforce data governance and quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain data quality controls.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in programming with Python or a compiled language (e.g., C, C++, Java).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with a track record of optimizing complex SQL statements.
  • Experience with database systems, particularly Snowflake and MongoDB.
  • Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple stakeholders, and work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to both technical and business audiences.
  • Familiarity with financial markets and financial assets (preferred).
  • Knowledge of tools for troubleshooting and optimizing SQL performance (preferred).
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Fluency in English.
