We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic and international tech team. You'll be designing and building modern data platforms and pipelines from scratch for the movie industry — not maintaining legacy systems. Think greenfield projects, high-impact data solutions, and cutting-edge cloud technologies As part of our tight-knit, multicultural team, you'll develop data products that power analytics, AI, and business intelligence for thousands of professionals worldwide, contributing directly to the evolution of a globally recognized brand This is your chance to shape data architecture, build reliable and scalable pipelines, and collaborate closely with top talents from product, analytics, and engineering.WHAT YOU'LL DO ‍Data Engineering & DevelopmentDesign and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics, AI, and operational systems.Architect and evolve cloud-native data lakes and warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).Optimize ingestion, transformation, and storage for performance and cost efficiency.Implement monitoring, observability, and data quality frameworks.Collaboration & DeliveryPartner with data scientists, analysts, and BI developers to deliver reliable datasets.Work with software engineers to integrate data flows into core products and services.Contribute to Agile ceremonies to deliver high-quality, timely features.Innovation & GrowthStay ahead of modern data engineering trends and tools.Propose improvements for scalability, performance, and reliability.Troubleshoot, debug, and fine-tune pipelines for seamless data flow.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 3+ years (mid) or 5+ years (senior) in software/data engineeringStrong coding skills in Python, Java, or ScalaAdvanced SQL with a strong understanding of relational databasesHands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred, or BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks)Familiarity with ETL/ELT and orchestration tools (Airflow, DBT, Luigi, Dagster)Knowledge of data modeling (dimensional, star/snowflake schemas)Strong communicator and collaborator across geographies and culturesProblem solver with a customer-first mindsetThrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and qualityNICE TO HAVE Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, Spark Streaming)Exposure to data governance, lineage, and catalogingKnowledge of DevOps and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)WHY YOU'LL LOVE WORKING WITH US ‍♀️Be part of greenfield product development — your input matters from day oneNo legacy code — full ownership of new featuresJoin a fast-paced, international team that’s supportive, creative, and full of energyCollaborate on products for a high-profile global brandBenefit from a startup culture with the stability of an established companyEnjoy flexible remote-first work with occasional team meetups in KrakówReal growth potential — as the product scales, so does your impactDETAILS English-speaking environmentHybrid model - 3 days per week from the office in Krakow ‍Type of cooperation: contract B2BCompetitive compensation based on experienceWe’re hiring for attitude and mindset — not just a tech stack.
