Your role is:
-> To conduct threat modeling and architecture/design reviews for secure applications and services;
-> To make architectural decisions to enhance security in collaboration with engineering teams;
-> To develop and improve security tooling, automation, and processes;
-> To perform code reviews and penetration testing on Klarna services;
-> To participate in and contribute to the internal engineering security community.
Your skills and experiences:
-> 6+ years of experience in web/mobile app security, network security, OS internals, applied cryptography, or cloud computing. Expertise in at least one area is expected;
-> Ability to pragmatically solve security issues for maximum effectiveness;
-> Experience in writing and reviewing code in at least one language: JavaScript (NodeJS), Python, Go, Erlang, Java, or Scala;
-> Strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
-> Language proficiency: Advanced English (minimum B2 level).
Nice to have:
+ Experience in penetration testing, code/design review, threat modeling, or security tooling development;
+ Participation in BugBounty programs and Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions.
