  • Lead transactions, determining valuation strategy with the support of Analysts.
  • Management of deal team in respect of non-performing, performing and secured loan portfolios.
  • Build/run models and provide portfolio analysis where necessary.
  • Presenting deal overview and investment rationale to senior management.
  • Work with local teams to ensure that valuations reflect the full capabilities of the relevant Business.
  • Preparing investment cases and presenting to the Hoist Investment Committee and/or Board.
  • Reviewing portfolio performance and contributing to operational improvements via data analytics.
  • Building a deep understanding of portfolios up for sale and broader market trends.
  • Interact with wider Investment Team and provide expertise where required in other jurisdictions.
Our requirements
  • 5+ years Investment or Asset Management experience in an investment or financial role.
  • Strong degree in an economics/a mathematical related discipline (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of NPL markets, particularly the Polish market.
  • Advanced Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyse and extract information from large data sets.
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and proven analytical/modelling skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
  • Able to take initiative and with the confidence to take ownership of processes.
  • Fluency in English (other European languages an advantage).

Role purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the management and delivery of investment opportunities across various the key market, Poland as well as other Hoist markets. Responsible for managing the overall delivery of investment cases, including optimisation of valuation and collaboration with the local operational teams. In addition, the successful candidate will also deputise for more senior investment function colleagues when required, including attendance at executive, client and other meetings/conferences as directed.
