  • An inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees is looking for a Group Tax And Statutory Reporting Expert.
  • This role is part of the Group tax reporting team which is responsible for delivering the annual cycle of external and internal tax reporting including for half-year, and year-end external financial reporting, and effective tax rate ('ETR') and cash-tax forecasting. In addition, the GTR team supports delivering the group's annual Country by Country Reporting ('CbCR').
  • Principle Accountabilities:
  • The preparation of the group's effective tax rate calculations, deferred tax calculations, and disclosures.
  • Coordinating the tax reporting data collection from subsidiaries
  • Reporting, monitoring and analysing the Group's tax charge
  • Supporting the subsidiaries in any tax reporting related issues
  • Be able to rationalise and sumarise information for senior stakeholders. Be able to challenge explanations and assumptions.
  • In-year and future year ETR and cash-tax forecasting
  • Managing statutory audit compliance.
Our requirements
  • Strong accounting expertise, able to act as focal point between different stakeholders, multitask and meet fixed deadlines.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in accounting, tax reporting, compliance, and statutory reporting in an international environment, including managing local statutory compliance for European countries and CIT calculations.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience in complex group tax reporting, consolidation, and proficiency in Excel and SAP.
  • Professional proficiency in English, with excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Critical mindset to challenge existing tools and processes, promoting business development, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage changing priorities, and effectively handle time constraints and deadlines.
