As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group

This is a full remote or hybrid opportunity

Job purpose

The Compliance Due Dilligence Officer is responsible to ensure the implementation of policies and procedures in accordance with Dutch Regulations and aligned with TMF's Group Policies. He/she is also responsible to drive a culture of compliance in the TMF NL office.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute the day-to-day workload
  • Maintain and update TMF's KYC/CDD database/systems;
  • Verify adherence to the local laws and regulations governing the detection and deterrence of money laundering and terrorist financing.;
  • Review compliance policies and procedures to ensure they are in line with applicable regulations;
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring of AML/CFT policies and procedures, including client acceptance policies, client due diligence, record-keeping, ongoing monitoring adverse media and sanction hits.

Key requirements

  • Master's or Bachelors degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or similar relevant professional experience
  • Previous work experience in the financial services industry; previous experience in KYC/AML would be an asset
  • Solid knowledge and experience with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal as this is our company language. Proficient reading and writing knowledge in other languages (e.g., Spanish, Chinese, German, French etc.) is an advantage
  • You plan and organize work efficiently, accurately and meeting tight deadlines
  • You are able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Result oriented and decisive
  • Responsible and high sense of ownership
