Summary:
As a Product Manager, you will be tasked with defining system architecture and non-functional requirements for Hitachi Energy's Network Manager, a critical network control solution. Non-functional requirements encompass aspects such as system performance, security, scalability, deployability, availability, maintainability, upgradeability, and usability.
The Role:
- Portfolio Management: Responsible for overseeing the Transmission Control product portfolio within the Enterprise Software Solutions Product Group, managing financial targets and conducting continuous analysis of the existing portfolio.
- Product Strategy: Translate local market requirements into a global product portfolio, positioning current and future products based on market segmentation.
- Market Analysis: Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform product development strategies.
- Product Business Plan: Define business plans, pricing models, and prioritize portfolio development activities.
- Customer Relations: Engage with customers, manage escalations, and address non-conformities effectively.
Background:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy sector in a similar role.
- Relevant bachelor's or master's degree.
- Commercial and financial acumen for pricing and cost control.
- Strong interpersonal skills to translate technical concepts into practical solutions.
- Solution-oriented approach to product development with a focus on integrity.
- Technical background in Electrical Engineering with proficiency in problem-solving.
- Familiarity with software development tools for power systems.
- Ability to work across different time zones and willingness to travel.
- Collaborative, consultative, and adept at driving change.
