Who we are looking for
Reporting directly to the Head of Corporate Audit Practices, the Europe and Asia Pac Methodology and Regulatory Liaison Lead will drive CA methodology and processes to establish a top-notch internal audit function for a Global Systemically Important Bank, ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulations. This role, based in Krakow or Gdansk, Poland, supports EMEA and APAC Corporate Audit Teams with regulatory requests.
This position allows for a hybrid work model, offering flexibility to balance work between home and office as needed.

Responsibilities
- Be part of the Audit Methodology team to develop and maintain comprehensive Audit Methodology.
- Act as the EMEA and APAC audit methodology expert, advising audit teams as necessary.
- Deliver methodology training to auditors and support onboarding across EMEA and APAC.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance function for consistent quality and adherence to standards.
- Stay updated on industry audit practices and recommend methodology enhancements.
- Work closely with leaders to drive strategic change and maintain a best-in-class internal audit division.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance internal audit practices.
- Build collaborative partnerships within the organization and CA.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and support audit teams in addressing regulatory requests.

Education & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in internal audit production, methodology, or quality assurance.
- Bachelor's / University degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- Advanced degree or certification (CFA, FRM, CPA, CIA) preferred.
- Knowledge of Internal Audit Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in English is required, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Additional Requirements
While primarily based at your primary location, occasional domestic and international travel may be necessary.
