We are searching for Group Financial Controller to liaise with Head of Group Reporting and Head of SSC in Wrocław to act as a bonding role between the needs of a group and SSC.

Client Details

Global Swiss production company with its over 15 years of history on the market (mainly European, partially Asian) building new SSC in Wrocław.

Description

  • Creating analysis and reports to support decision-making processes
  • Data analysis, formulation of conclusions, recommendations, risks
  • Review and approve the month end submissions
  • Provide variance analysis of actuals vs budget and forecast
  • Provide financial models to support profitability and saving targets goals
  • Support the control & compliance related activities, including audit
  • Overseeing internal financial functions, such as planning, budgeting, taxes, consolidation, cost control and project control
  • Cooperation and problem solving with other financial organizations
  • Supporting and managing standardized and optimized solutions for finance processes, including improvements and automation
  • Involvement in projects, active support for the transition project
  • Providing superiors and managers with important financial information, including the evaluation of processes, programs and projects
  • BSC specific tasks
  • Prepare the BSC budgeting and forecasting according to the group guidance
  • Preparing cash flow forecast for BSC as Legal entity
  • Managing true up process
  • Managing charging process for BSC including monthly invoicing
  • Supporting accounting team in BSC closing processes
  • Preparing BSC finance KPI's and analyzing results
  • Finance Partner for all Head Office IT development projects
  • Ongoing review of cost centres with IT development projects
  • Coordination of project initiation, ensure costs correctly classified against projects
  • Prepare summary of costs vs. budget to review with Project Manager
  • Coordinate between Project Manager, Head Office accountants to ensure all external and internal development costs are correctly posted on time at month end

Profile

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in finance
  • Comprehensive professional experience in Controlling and Financial Analysis
  • Professional experience in a Shared Service organization (transformation of processes and tools, project management)
  • Practical knowledge of SAP
  • Practical experience in reporting systems and tools (Power BI, advanced excel)
  • Understanding of accounting principles, in particular IFRS
  • Experience with analysis (balance sheet, cash flow), financial forecasting and budgeting
  • Strong Analytical skills and orientation on details
  • Process improvements and automation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, under time pressure
  • Practical experience in implementing systems and tools that bring process efficiency
