Handled employee expense reimbursements and assisted with tax compliance, while addressing various ad-hoc financial tasks

Opis stanowiska

  • Work in cooperation with internal international accounting team as well outsourced accountants in Poland and United Kingdom.
  • Actively participate in month-end closing process.
  • Prepare General Ledger journal entries, including supporting calculations and analyses.
  • Provide primary documents to external accountants in Poland on monthly basis.
  • Cooperate with auditors during year-end audits and ensures that audit documentation is delivered to the auditors.
  • Review journal entries of the Company's Branch in Poland, reconcile journal entries with Head office (United Kingdom) records.
  • Lead monthly billing process for services provided, from accounting side: issue sales invoices (United Kingdom) and preparation of accounting reports.
  • Inventory of goods accounting .
  • Assist external accountants with local VAT returns (United Kingdom, Poland).
  • Manage employee's expense reimbursement and post relevant journal entries.
  • Maintain Fixed Assets register.
  • Support tax compliance processes.
  • Handle various ad-hoc finance-related tasks.

Profil kandydata

  • University degree in Banking/Accounting/Finance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of legislation of the Republic of Poland in the field of accounting and taxation.
  • Excellent MS office skills and good accounting software skills.
  • High sense of responsibility, capacity to organize time and plan actions effectively.
  • Experience in accounting for foreign company would be considered as an advantage.
  • Fluent Polish language and very good English language skills
