Senior Analyst - Pricing

Location: Wrocław, Poland

In this position, you will be a key member of the Wholesale Casualty pricing team, collaborating closely with underwriters in London and members of the actuarial team.

We are looking for a top-notch, proactive analyst with relevant experience to ensure sustained profitable growth and foster talent to deliver excellent service to AXA XL's clients.

What will be your main responsibilities?

  • Collaborate with casualty actuaries to influence pricing decisions through individual account pricing analysis
  • Support strategic initiatives to enhance the loss ratio
  • Lead the creation and enhancement of tools and dashboards, especially within R Shiny
  • Handle adhoc projects to enhance the quality of data used in pricing analysis
  • Assist in rating model updates and improvements
  • Communicate with underwriters in London regarding analyses conducted
  • Provide training and review work of junior team members
  • Maintain and streamline existing pricing tasks
  • Present results to stakeholders

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Qualification level - A degree in a mathematical, scientific, or economics-related field
  • Relevant work experience in a statistical or analytical role
  • Working towards actuarial accreditation, or willing to start studying for it
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in R, Excel, SQL, VBA, etc.
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Analytical skills and capacity to work with large datasets
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Effective workload management across multiple projects
  • Proactive nature and eagerness to seek self-development opportunities
  • Fluency in English
