Position Summary and Key Areas of Responsibility:

GL Accountant reports to European Manager of Reporting and Consolidation and performs period end closing activities on timely manner and in accordance with operational procedures, global corporate standards and local requirements. Exercise overall responsibility for General Ledger accounts Review and sign-off on appropriate reporting and reconciliations Perform period end closing activities in accordance with operational procedures, corporate standards and local requirements Prepare statistical and other local reporting Maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and timely respond to their queries Support external and internal auditors with their requests Identify process improvements opportunities and actively participate in process excellence initiatives Prepare various reports and analysis on senior management requests Deal with ad-hoc operational and administrative queries

Basic Qualifications:

University degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting/Economy or similar At least 1+ years of experience within SSC environment in the related process area and/or accounting (preferable in General Ledger or R2R area) Knowledge of ERP systems Languages: English is a must French or Spanish, or other European language will be an advantage
