We are currently working with a French company which is a leader in security and infrastructure solutions for cryptocurrencies and blockchain applications. It has a team of more than 400 professionals developing a variety of products and services to safeguard cryptocurrency assets, including worldwide leading hardware wallets.

 

As a Hands-On Lead & Engineering Manager, you will guide our fintech and crypto development teams. This role is open to experts in either embedded systems (C, Rust) or desktop/mobile applications (TypeScript, Rust). You’ll lead projects, mentor developers, and drive innovation within your speciality.

Your daily responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a specialized engineering team.

  • Provide technical direction, mentorship, and code reviews.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals.

  • Ensure best practices in development, testing, and deployment.

  • Resolve technical challenges and foster continuous improvement.

We need you to have

  • Extensive experience in software development with expertise in TypeScript, C, and Rust.

  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Experience with blockchain technologies.

  • Experience in fintech, crypto, or related industries is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Would be great if you have

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

  • Prior experience in security-focused development.
