Job Purpose

Performs inspections and quality control activities on site or at manufacturing plant and reports non conformance

Job Description

• Conducts quality tests as qualified for (destructive and non-destructive tests) to detect non-conformance issues and identifies the causes of rejects• Participates as requested in evaluation and analysis of complicated cases of non-conformances• Reads and interprets blueprints and specifications• Assists Production during start-up of new fabrication and controls authorized repairs• Checks conformity and traceability of materials used in production• Calibrates measuring instruments using standards.• Collects and verifies production records and performs interpretation of test records• Ensures Client representatives and third party inspectors are called on-time to attend Witness and Hold points

You are meant for this job if:

• Trade Apprenticeship/ Certificate or equivalent / technical background• 2 years of experience• Welding / Non Destructive Testing related experience and / or qualification
