Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Downloading bank statements, loading transactions to People Soft and reconcile the banks on daily basis Investigating and resolving customer inquiries, contacting customers regarding payments received Managing AR related documentation Carrying out reporting activities according to specific deadlines Carrying out collection activities (where appropriate) and following-up on customer reminders Reconcile the customer accounts, confirm balances Review the AR Aging on a regular basis and supporting the Credit management process Prepare Refunds and MPR where needed Independently reconcile AR related accounts and bank accounts (AR related transactions) Prepare the GL journals if needed (IFM bank charges, booking corrections) Timely closing AR module and perform various Month-End-Closing related tasks; AR to GL reconciliation, bad debt provision, VAT reconciliation (if applicable) Managing AR issues and resolving them in line with the Service Partnership Agreement Assisting audit inquiries Cooperating with other departments to get successful resolution on complex tasks Participate in Client related calls Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager Usage of Issue Log and Reveal Assist in PS issues and accountancy problems; share an expertise knowledge with the AR Team, support new colleagues and Junior Accountants Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives for AR

Quantity of Solved tickets in Zendesk Meeting Month End Closing Calendar Quantity/amount of unallocated items Collection performance (where appropriate) Prohance Others as per My Performance objectives

Skills

High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality Excellent data entry skills Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook) Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills Effective organizational, stress and time management skills Strong sense of work ethic Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines Ability to work independently or as a team member Open for constant standardization and processes' development Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Experience

1.5+ years of experience in accountancy

Qualifications

BA’s Graduate, college courses in accounting preferred or SKWP Certificate Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards and compliance requirements Very good knowledge of English Good knowledge of French
