Sector overview

The JLL Business Service (JBS) is an established accounting and finance operating Centre owned and managed by JLL to support all of JLL EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) operations and is the finance and accounting Centre for European accounting processes, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Contract to Billing, JBS finance, IFM and Asset Management.

Role Purpose
The successful candidate will be required to ensure that all received invoices from different European countries are processed in a timely and efficient manner, are correctly reflected in the ledgers, in line with corporate policy/ statutory and SOX requirements.
 

What this job involves:

Verify, code and book invoices/credit notes on a daily basis Request new/update vendor files In line with Vendor Maintenance Procedure Contact vendors and/or internal clients if needed Reconcile the vendor accounts Review and communicate with LF on the AP Ageing on a regular basis Reconcile AP related accounts and bank accounts AP related transactions Various Month-End-Closing related tasks; AP to GL reconciliation, cost accrual proposal, VAT reconciliation (with the support of Accountants and Senior Accountants if needed) Assist in the annual audit by preparing files as requested Being familiar with PS batch process which runs automatically in PS Assist in AP Process Improvement Assist in the migration of new entities

Fluent spoken & written English is a must, other language knowledge like German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian is an advantage Understanding of accounts payable accounting practices Analytical skills Good knowledge of Ms Excel Ability to work within tight operational deadlines and handle a number of tasks and priorities Knowledge of PeopleSoft or another ERP package is an advantage
