Overview

We are looking for Accounts Payable Manager for IDG business units based in Europe.

For more than five decades IDG and its businesses have been at the forefront of every major shift in the technology market, providing critical insights for tech suppliers and buyers. We are building a global AP team, where your contributions will truly make an impact.

Responsibilities

Process management:

Managing complex Accounts Payable process – invoice postings, managing incoming queries, process employee T&E, vendor master data, MEC activities, etc. Managing payments – cooperation with Treasury Supporting internal/external audit Driving process improvement and standardization of the processes Managing transition and stabilization process Preparing and maintaining SOP

People management:

Managing daily tasks within team, setting priorities Coaching, supporting, acting as subject matter expert Building strong back up structure within the team Leading the team of 10 accountants – setting goals and objectives, managing performance review

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or similar At least 2 years of experience in managing complex Accounts Payable process Strong understanding of local/US GAAP Strong understanding of accounting processes in international structures Effective communication cross departments within organization Detailed oriented with ability to prioritize Very good command of English, other languages will be a plus
