Field Sales Role supporting the Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary Account Managers with technical and applications support and instrument demonstrations for the visualization systems, chromatography and multiplex suspension array range of products.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Support a team of account managers providing solutions to both reagent and system based problems in a sales and customer orientated environment, conduct or coordinate on site customer demonstrations, customer product training and troubleshooting the product range.
  • Initiate and coordinate sales activity. Work together with the local account managers to maximize sales potential to achieve or exceed target for a dedicated range of products (instruments and consumables). Actively follow sales leads, provide information and / or quotations to customers.
  • Develop market awareness and help to build the future sales pipeline. Work together with the local account managers, sales management and European marketing teams to develop a tactical plan of action to build future pipeline and grow revenue both from existing and new customers.
  • Activities may involve customer visits, seminars, conferences, exhibitions.
  • Collect market information providing market intelligence on competitor and major account activities, local changes in the market place, customer needs, new trends, including monitoring customer satisfaction, competitor activity, new customer needs and sales support materials, highlight opportunities, assessing market potential, identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Optimize own work efficiency by coordinating with all the necessary partners, align all activities at the customer site with the rest of the company, partner with other Instrument Specialists and European marketing team for the purpose of lead sharing and revenue optimization.

What You Bring 

While this list of qualifications may help an employee to succeed in this position, capable candidates may have a wide range of backgrounds or skills. If you have experience that aligns with the responsibilities of this role, we encourage you to apply 

 

  • Background in Life Science.
  • Detailed planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to travel across CEE territory (travel across CEE region is required).
  • Strong laboratory background in Molecular Biology (visualization systems, chromatography and multiplex suspension array).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, selling skills, organization skills, presentation skills and determination to succeed. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer skills with MS office suite of software are required.
  • PhD in Biochemistry, Biology or Life Science discipline or equivalent additionally scored.
  • Experience 2+ years successful sales experience, preferably within a Life Science company.
