Job Description

We are searching for an Internal Control Professional with experience in Polish and European legal regulations.

 

What does this role involve?

  • You will design, analyze and participate in the process of improving and developing systemic solutions to the ​​Internal Control system in our organization
  • You will prepare an Internal Control plan
  • You will examine the compliance with various legal acts (in particular related to activities of agents of the Domestic Payment Institution (pl: Krajowa Instytucja Płatnicza - KIP)) as well as adherence to the organization's internal processes (not only financial) in accordance with the adopted policies and principles
  • You will verify whether the risk mitigation measures adopted by the organization fulfill their function
  • You will work closely with the Internal Audit team in multiple layers incl. communication of issues identified, reporting on the status of open recommendations and coordination of work

This is the right job for you, if:

  • You have higher education in finance, economics or law or other studies supplemented with relevant postgraduate studies or a completed course in internal auditing and/or internal control or at least 5 years experience in Internal Control, Risk Management or Internal Audit (or similar)
  • You have experience in managing project teams and leading complex projects
  • You have ability to think analytically and draw conclusions, use, interpret and apply regulations
  • You have ability to cooperate with employees at various levels in the organization
  • You have good work organization
  • You have knowledge of the principles, standards and methodology of carrying out inspections
  • You have presentation skills
  • You have problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • You have experience in process designing and optimization
  • You have time management (based on deadlines)
  • You have any of the following certifications: CICS-Specialist, CICP-Professional, CIA, CISA
