Our client is looking for a Senior Analytics Developer with Snowflake and BI experience. Our data solutions make a meaningful impact on customer success, sales performance, marketing, and internal processes that drive insights and efficiency.
Role is Hybrid in Houston, Texas.
Your Role
As the Senior Analytics Developer, you will:
Create, deliver, adjust, and maintain key reports & tools needed to drill down into underlying data and ensure that teams have the information they need to implement data-driven strategies Track ETAs, deliverables, and distribution to guarantee clear timing expectations around deliverables and regular reporting Support data processing, pre-existing reporting, applications, and customer facing reports or data Design, build, and maintain architecture pertaining to analytics Develop views for utilization in reporting Develop advanced analytic initiatives (e.g., prediction modeling, causal inference, experimentation, etc) using AI and machine learningRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics or related field 8+ years of work experience; 10+ years of experience in related work if no degree A Master’s Degree in a related field may substitute two (2) years’ of work experience Proficient in SQL, DBT, and Python Creating and maintaining Stored Procedures Highly experienced in Snowflake and Snowpark features (Python or Scala) Have statistical skills utilized in A/B testing, analyzing observational data, and statistical modeling Capable of translating business requirements into technical solutions Strong knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, data governance best practices, and security controls Ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team to translate tasks into deliverables Effective at designing and implementing solutions that meet scalability and performance requirements Experience with BI reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI (Sigma Computing preferred)Experience
