Project

This data-driven initiative supports group risk reporting and other Use Cases by implementing new or improving existing data pipelines. Data requirements cover remodeling and aggregating defined data input into common Company format. Developer hired for this position will be working on upstream source integrations, efficient data transformation as well as analytics pipelines to extend and improve reliable reporting foundation. The initiative builds on common big data platform(s) and tools.

 

Expected competences and knowledge

  • Experience in Java or Scala/Spark
  • Knowledge of Hadoop stack: YARN, MR, Sqoop, Hive
  • Good knowledge of Kafka and Impala
  • Hands on development experience with Jenkins or Bamboo, JIRA, Bitbucket and Git/Stash
