About the RoleThe Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems and pipelines. This includes analyzing and organizing raw data, building data systems and pipelines, evaluating business needs and objectives, interpreting trends and patterns, conducting complex data analysis and reporting on results, and preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and organize raw data to ensure high-quality and accurate insights
- Design and build data systems and pipelines using cloud technologies such as Snowflake, Python, ETL, SQL, Git, Gitflow, Docker, Bamboo, Jenkins, Terraform, and DBT
- Evaluate business needs and objectives to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven solutions
- Interpret trends and patterns in data to inform business decisions
- Conduct complex data analysis and report on results to stakeholders
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to drive business outcomes
- 4+ years of experience working with programming languages focused on data pipelines, such as Python or R
- 2+ years of experience working with Snowflake
- 4+ years of experience working with SQL
- 3+ years of experience in data pipelines maintenance
- 3+ years of experience with different types of storage and working with various kinds of data
- 3+ years of experience in working in data architecture concepts
- 3+ years of cloud technologies experience with emphasis on data pipelines
- Very good knowledge of data serialization languages such as JSON, XML, YAML
- Excellent knowledge of Git, Gitflow, and DevOps tools
