Job description

For our client we are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join a dynamic IT team. If you have a passion for working with data, are familiar with cloud technology and can optimize and monitor cloud solutions - this position is for you

Wymagane doświadczenie

  • Minimum 5 lat doświadczenia w branży IT, w tym co najmniej 3,5 roku w pracy z danymi w chmurze, potwierdzone komercyjnymi projektami wdrożonymi na produkcję.
  • Zaawansowana znajomość SQL i umiejętność wykorzystania go na rozwiązaniach technologicznych Microsoft oraz innych.
  • Biegła znajomość metodyk oraz narzędzi Git i CI/CD.
  • Doświadczenie w tworzeniu i optymalizacji rozwiązań przetwarzających dane (ETL, ELT) poparte projektem technicznym oraz alternatywami rozwiązań.
  • Umiejętność monitoringu, diagnostyki oraz rozwiązywania problemów w chmurze, planowania infrastruktury i obliczania jej kosztów.
  • Znajomość koncepcji Delta Lake i Data Lakehouse.
  • Wiedza na temat architektury SMP oraz MPP wraz z przykładami rozwiązań opartych o te architektury.
  • Doświadczenie w migracji rozwiązań on-premise do chmury oraz znajomość podstawowych typów migracji.
  • Znajomość mechanizmów związanych z bezpiecznym przechowywaniem i przetwarzaniem danych w chmurze.
  • Bardzo dobra znajomość usług związanych z przechowywaniem i przetwarzaniem danych oferowanych przez dostawcę chmury Azure.
  • Doświadczenie w bezpośredniej współpracy z klientem.
  • Znajomość języka angielskiego na poziomie średniozaawansowanym (minimum B2).

Experience required

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the IT industry, including at least 3.5 years working with data in the cloud, proven by commercial projects deployed in production.

  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and ability to use it on Microsoft and other technology solutions.

  • Proficient knowledge of Git and CI/CD methodologies and tools.

  • Experience in developing and optimizing data processing solutions (ETL, ELT), supported by technical design and solution alternatives.

  • Ability to monitor, diagnose and troubleshoot cloud, infrastructure planning and costing.

  • Knowledge of Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse concepts.

  • Knowledge of SMP and MPP architectures with examples of solutions based on these architectures.

  • Experience in migrating on-premise solutions to the cloud and knowledge of basic migration types.

  • Knowledge of mechanisms related to secure storage and processing of data in the cloud.

  • Very good knowledge of storage and computing services offered by Azure cloud provider.

  • Experience in working directly with clients.

  • Knowledge of English at an intermediate level (minimum B2).
