About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Director of QDI (QuantitativeData Intelligence) the Data Science Manager will lead a dynamic datascience team, steering both the strategic and technical aspects of data-drivenprojects. This role will aim to leverage big data to inform decision-making anddrive innovation using Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML)tools. This strategic role involves overseeing the design, implementation, andoptimization of data systems and leading the team towards achieving excellenceusing AI and ML for data measure management/analytics.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of AI& ML analysis, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Develop and execute a datastrategy and integrated roadmap that aligns with organizational goals,including data collection, integration, and structuring processes. Oversee the design,implementation, and management of robust, scalable data tools and pipelines. Ensure data quality andconsistency across various data sources and systems, implementing bestpractices in data management. Partner and collaborate andinfluencing with the Business cross-functional teams, including datascientists, analysts, and IT specialists, to support data-driven projects andinitiatives. Stay ahead of industry trendsand advancements in data technology, applying new techniques and tools toenhance data capabilities. Communicate data strategiesand insights effectively to stakeholders and senior management. Oversees the planning,execution, and delivery of data science projects. Ability to work independentlywith minimal supervision with an ownership mindset.  Developing and optimizingrepeatable internal reporting.  Partnering with the businessand development team to create and execute clear, complete, accurate reportingfor different workstreams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor'sor Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science,or a related field. Provenexperience, 5+ years in data science, AI & ML, with a track record ofmanaging data teams and projects. Excellentleadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guideteams towards achieving their goals. Strongproblem-solving abilities. Abilityto collaborate and work cross-functionally in matrix managedorganization.  Actingas liaison between business units and technology solutions.  Buildinga strong working knowledge of internal data infrastructure, architecture, andprocesses.  Excellentdata management and analytic skills to assemble, clean and analyse dataeffectively from multiple systems. Strongwritten and verbal communication skills. Musthave a positive/proactive attitude and be a strong team player.

Preferred Skills

Experiencein cloud computing environments (Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL, ETL, AWS, Azure,Google Cloud) and understanding of SaaS models. Experiencewith SAP systems (ECC, S4 HANA).  Proficiencyin programming languages and experience with SQL & Tableau databases. Strongtechnical expertise in data modelling, data warehousing, and data integrationtechniques. Knowledgeof digital twin technologies and their application in industrial contexts. Backgroundin industrial automation, IoT, or related fields. Familiaritywith Agile development methodologies.
