SQA Senior Continuous Improvement Technologist (f/m/x)
in Mars Petcare, SQA Department
Location: Sochaczew
As a Supplier Quality Assurance Senior Technologist at Mars you will address (raw material) non-conformances of in-bound materials at the assigned Mars sites. You will also execute continuous improvement projects (raw material) used across the business, with the goal of improving material quality, food safety, and overall sourcing strategy reliability to ensure we provide nothing but the best quality products to our consumers.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Be first point of contact for assigned Pet Nutrition Europe manufacturing sites with regards to supplier related non-conformances in raw materials;
Continuously manage and improve Supplier Relationship Management and enhance supplier performance through non-conformance follow up;
Improve quality management processes and lead/support relevant workstreams and projects;
Develop Best Practice in the area of supplier related non-conformance management, supplier continuous improvement and SQA attendance within PRIMP process;
Support the development and enhancement of internal systems and tools to improve quality reporting and data management efficiency;
Driving a culture that is rooted heavily in Lean principles, and applying the associated problem solving methodology across the manufacturing network.
What are we looking for?
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and ideally in food science and technology;
5+ years of experience working manufacturing quality, with sound understanding of Quality and food safety;
Experience in systematic approach with root cause analysis & corrective action;
Understanding of ISO standards . FSSC22000 and auditing skills will be a bonus;
Experience in stakeholder management;
Strong understanding of supply chain with the physical capability of working in a manufacturing environment when necessary;
Advanced knowledge/ experience in the implementation of quality management system & continuous improvement;
Strong communication and presentation skills;
Experience in project management;
Good in computer skills . MS Office application;
Fluent in English;
