Boston Scientific offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Senior Intercompany Accountant to join our team in a Hybrid working mode. About the Role:

  • Perform complex duties in general accounting, including analyzing accounts, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and performing the monthly financial close and consolidation.
  • Drive compliance in all finance-related matters and ensure compliance with Corporate and local policies, statutory requirements, and GAAP principles.
  • Cooperate with internal and external audits and audit-related accounting matters (SOX, CA&C).
  • Apply LEAN methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of intercompany processes.
  • Participate in implementing quality requirements in all aspects of the intercompany process.
  • Identify and implement process improvement and standardization.
  • Ensure all activities comply with legal demands, ethical standards, and the Internal Quality.

In this role, you will oversee Intercompany activities for the entities in your scope, including cross charge and netting preparation. You will also process monthly journal entries related to intercompany activities and create desktop procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting/ Business Economics or other financial-related studies.
  • 3-5 years of similar experience in Intercompany/ General Ledger area.
  • Project Management focus.
  • Fluency in English, additional language capabilities are a plus.
  • SAP experience, Hyperion, Cadency, and SAP S4 Hana experience are additional assets.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills and focus on building relationships.
  • Self-motivated yet team player.
  • Continuous Improvement attitude.
