Your Tasks and Responsibilties:
- Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
- Build and lead a team of IT professionals. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and monitor progress. Ensure effective team communication and collaboration.
- Identify and engage stakeholders, including customers, management, and other relevant parties. Manage their expectations and ensure that their requirements are met.
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to address them. Monitor project risks and take appropriate actions.
- Estimate project costs, develop budgets, and track expenses. Ensure that projects are delivered within the allocated budget.
- Monitor project deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform quality reviews and implement necessary improvements.
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to all stakeholders on a regular basis. Prepare and present reports to board members, senior management, and other relevant parties.
- Identify lessons learned from completed projects and implement best practices for future projects.
Your Qualifications and Experience:
- Successfully completed a university degree in Computer Science, Business or Engineering Sciences, or a similar field, or an equivalent education with corresponding professional experience.
- Previous experience as a software developer.
- 3-5 years of experience, preferably in IT project management, IT consulting, software engineering or digital transformation projects in a B2B industry.
- Extensive experience in working with various project management tools and techniques, including project planning and organization, road mapping, risk management, status reporting, and financial reporting.
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience of delivering projects in an agile environment.
- Experience in the automation of industrial plants is advantageous.
- Project Management certifications preferred.
Your Profile and Skills:
- For this position we are looking for a person with at least a B2+/C1 level in German and English.
- You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills. You also have a confident and persuasive manner, the ability to work under pressure, and the skills to work independently.
- Commitment and willingness to travel as required.
- Excellent communication skills will enable you to work closely with different departments and stakeholders.
- Ability to make effective decision-proposals and to quickly gain the trust of key stakeholders.
- Highly structured, customer and result-oriented approach – experienced in dealing with complex and changing requirements.
