We are currently offering a new opportunity at the Bruker Business Support Center (BSC), located in the very heart of Warsaw, Poland. Fueled by a talented and dedicated workforce, the BSC provides a broad range of business services for Bruker Corporation, including Finance, Human Resources, IT and Customer Services in Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and the Americas regions. The VAT /TAX Compliance Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for ensuring VAT compliance in a range of legal entities across EMEA. They will work closely with the Business Group Finance teams, Global Tax team as well as the General Ledger Accounting team located in the Bruker Business Support Center in Warsaw to define processing guidelines , train the Accounting and Sales teams on applicable regulations and perform quality controls of VAT declarations.
Supported by external advisors, the VAT Compliance Manager will track changes in rules and regulations and decide on how to implement them at Bruker.
Responsibilities
Train the Accounting and Sales teams Define guidelines for VAT-related processes in close coordination with the Business Groups, Global Tax as well as the General Ledger Accounting team Ensure on-time and accurate filing of VAT declarations Check and approve VAT declarations Support quarterly and yearly audits, provide requested process information/data for auditors Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
To be successful in the role we need you to hold:
At least 8 years recent experience in working on VAT subjects, including VAT reporting/declarations Strong knowledge of VAT legislation and experience in VAT compliance, especially with German legislation, preferably also further EMEA countries. English knowledge (min. C1) and German knowledge would be an advantage. Experience in using various sources of tax information/updates, including networking and cooperation with local advisors Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Ability to communicate content in a clear way Excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve problems Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks Experience working in an international corporation.Bruker BSC offers a comprehensive and competitive salary and benefits package, work in an international and dynamic environment, stable and long-term cooperation and the office in the heart of Warsaw.
