Credit Management Accountant

Credit Management Accountant is responsible for collecting payments of due receivables, taking care of the accounting and financial reporting in accordance with applicable law and accounting rules, assessing credit risk, supporting the team in daily operations and taking care of factoring process:

  • Monitoring, maintaining and collecting accounts receivable (calls, emails)
  • Performing month-end closing reports and adjustments (3rd party and ICO account reconciliation, calculating and posting provisions)
  • Maintaining customers internal credit limits
  • Managing credit check to hold/release shipments
  • Monitoring and maintaining credit limits, performing the credit assessment, maintaining correct settings in master data for customers included in the factoring program
  • Cooperating with local finance, Sales team, Customer Service and other departments
  • Carrying out weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports
  • Maintaining Credit Management operating procedures
  • Supervise and coordinate legal proceedings
  • Qualitative service for internal and external customers based on high standard of work
  • Complying with Code of Conduct rules
  • Taking care of department development by implementing changes and process improvements
  • Representing the company externally, taking care of the image and reputation of the Company
  • Participating in global and ad-hoc projects
  • Perform other supervisor’s instructions and orders
  • Providing data to internal and external auditors

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in Finance Department
  • Experience in factoring process would be an advantage
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge of another European language (e.g. German) would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Interpersonal skills for interacting with accountants, internal and external customers
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities (business communication)
  • Effective self-management and ability to consistently meet deadlines
  • Openness to flexible work-time
  • Self-starter with positive attitude, enthusiasm, drive and energy
  • Being able to work effectively under time pressure and with difficult customers
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
