P2P Accountant with French

 

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced P2P Accountant - you will be responsible for various accounting tasks related to the Accounts Payable processes.

 

Job Description / Tasks:

  • Process supplier invoices by inspecting them against statutory requirements, matching against existing Purchase Order, sending them for approval via WF tool, posting them against cost accounts
  • Resolving supplier queries by account analysis and direct contact with local plant responsible team
  • Preparation of payment proposal, organizing approval, payment execution and payment file upload to banking system
  • Outgoing payment and bank statement posting
  • Incoming cash posting and allocation to customer invoices. Direct contact with customer for payment details and outstanding amounts
  • Ageing report preparation and follow up
  • Supplier Master Data maintenance
  • AP, AR and bank account reconciliation at month end
  • Preparation and posting of Journal Entries
  • Integration posting
  • GL accounts (limited number of accounts) reconciliation
  • Management fees calculation
  • Waste analysis
  • Accounts analysis between ERP and Business Warehouse
  • GR/IR reconciliation
  • Depreciation calculation and analysis
  • Closing and opening accounting periods
  • Exchange rate maintenance
  • Active participation in new initiatives and process improvement projects

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AP in a BPO/SSC environment.
  • Proficient in French (B2 or higher) and English (B2 or higher).
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or extensive accounting courses.
  • Knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Strong team player.
