 AP Accountant with French

 

Scope of Duties

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for efficiently managing various financial tasks for the French-speaking part of the business.

Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Process invoices/CN in SAP,
  • Make tax determinations/interpretations of taxable vs non-taxable items
  • Monitor AP debit balances, and blocked invoices and correct any issues as they arise
  • Reconcile and clear GRIR accounts
  • Process employee expenses in Concur Perform monthly and yearly close activities including intercompany reconciliation and accrual posting
  • Handle external and internal vendor correspondences via email and/or phone and provide support to other colleagues
  • Take part in department projects aimed at improving process efficiency and quality

We are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • Fluent in both English and French
  • Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
  • A team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of the SAP system.
