Project:

We’re looking for an experienced CMDB Solution Consultant to join our team. The CMDB Solution Consultant will play a crucial role in scoping, gathering requirements, evaluating existing solutions, and planning the implementation of our CMDB solution.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect.

Guide the team through the key areas: scope alignment, requirement gathering, AS-IS evaluation, and supplier selection.

Facilitate up to ten virtual meetings with project stakeholders to discuss and align the scope of our CMDB solution investigation.

Act as an independent advisor, evaluating the pros and cons of including or excluding scope elements.

Collect functional and non-functional requirements based on prior experience and internal workshops.

Prioritize requirements into high, medium, and low categories through interviews with key stakeholders.

Investigate the technical capabilities of existing solutions (e.g., “Staging DB” and “4me”).

Identify gaps between existing solutions and the requirements list.

Collaborate on the execution plan for implementing the CMDB solution.
