Platform Software Integrator

Valeo Wiper Systems Plant in Skawina specializes in the design, manufacturing, painting and assembly of wiper blades, arms and mechanisms. Additionally, in production of motors for wipers has began. Plants main activity is supported by a modern research and development center which is currently employing about staff members.

Currently for our entity Valeo Wiper Systems in Skawina we recruit Platform Software Integrator.

Your Challenges:

• Integrate software in the wiper motor within a specific customer project (P1). Ensure correct implementation of  functional requirements. Autonomously identify and solve problems related to software integration (flashing, misbehaviour, communication);

• Review, assess, validate software release packages;

• Review software test result reports;

• Check release documentation;

• Integrate software release in the wiper motor;

• Flash the software perform basic tests;

• Perform spot check testing on corrected APR /verify closed APRs) and functionality;

• Align between project system team, platform team and Product Group software discipline manager on implementation of DSR;

• Propose update of requirement and test following issue solving from customer;

• Check implementation of Platform SW and DSR;

• Support RO (Regional Operation?) validation team in case of issue with;

• Analyses of LIN traces and diagnostic data;

• Collect, trace and provide debug information to development team for further analysis;

• Perform debugging activities at customer;

• Resolve issues related to flashing, security, EoL;

• Support RO in case of issue at customer level/site;

• Analysing LIN traces and Diagnostics Data;

• Able to trace debug information and provide it to Cairo.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Education in computer science, electronics or comparable studies;

• Experience in embedded software development as software architect or software integrator - preferably in the automotive industry;

• Proficient in English;

• Knowledge of Automotive SPICE process;

• Knowledge of C / C++;

• Very well-developed interpersonal skills.
