THE JOURNEY

Become part of the finance team, where you will be responsible for:

Maintain the company's accounting books according to the statutory regulations. Preparing statutory financial statements Monthly reporting of accounting data to the group  Implementing and improving closing procedures Creating reports for group reporting purposes Performing calculations for transformations between the Accounting Act and IFRS Developing accounting policies and procedures Leading projects related to the implementation and testing of financial software Conducting tax settlements with the support of a tax advisor Follow the changes in company policy, tax regulations and legislation. Communicating with external auditors and regulatory authorities Collaborating with other units within the Glovo group Manage a team under your supervision

What You Will Bring To The Ride:

At least 4 years of experience in an accounting services company or as an accountant A higher education degree in accounting, economics, or related fields, which will be given priority Knowledge in the field of accounting, including CIT and VAT taxes Proficiency in spreadsheets, such as Excel and Google Sheets Experience in implementing IT solutions is a plus Proficiency in both English and Polish at a minimum of B2 level Familiarity with Comarch Optima and LucaNet systems, which will be considered an additional asset Professional accountancy qualification e.g. ACCA is an advantage (qualified or part qualified).
