Role Purpose:

The BD Executive will support marketing and business development activities for the Employment, Tax, and Competition practice groups. The role focuses on achieving strategic objectives related to UKIME campaigns, events, sponsorship management, thought leadership, client relationship management, client targeting, and directory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-quality marketing materials for proposals to convey positioning, experience, and sales messages.
  • Supporting Business Development Manager in producing transactional and strategic proposals.
  • Conduct research on organizations, sectors, or individuals.
  • Plan and implement high-impact client events, both in-person and virtual.
  • Manage webinars and edit content for follow-up circulation.
  • Assist in developing, targeting, and managing campaigns to promote capabilities and thought leadership.
  • Draft and design marketing content for various channels.
  • Prepare practice awards, legal directory submissions, and evaluate profile-raising opportunities.
  • Manage practice web pages and ensure current content.
  • Ensure brand compliance and adopt visual identity for consistent materials.
  • Update website and intranet content.

Requirements

  • Significant relevant marketing and organizational experience.
  • Availability to work at least 1 day a week from the office.
  • Experience in a legal and/or professional services environment.
  • Ability to manage expectations and build trust among stakeholders.
  • Good attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and deputize for the line manager when needed.
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
