As a Business Analyst, you will be instrumental in analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and developing actionable insights to drive sales and market expansion initiatives for ZF’s digital and connectivity solutions like fleet management, digital workshops, diagnostics solutions and marketplace. This role requires a deep understanding of the automotive industry landscape, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive results across multiple regions globally.

Tasks

Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics in the automotive aftermarket landscape; Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams to gather insights, define target market segments, and develop go-to-market strategies for launching new products and expanding market presence; Analyze sales data, performance metrics, and customer feedback to evaluate product performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize sales strategies to achieve revenue targets; Develop sales forecasts, budgetary projections, and business cases to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation for sales initiatives and market expansion efforts; Conduct competitive benchmarking and SWOT analysis to assess market positioning, identify competitive threats, and develop differentiated value propositions for our products in target markets; Monitor industry regulations, standards, and compliance requirements to ensure that our products meet regulatory guidelines and address customer needs effectively.

Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field required; MBA preferred; Proven experience as a business analyst, sales analyst, or related role in the SAAS industry, preferably within the automotive sector; Deep understanding of SAAS or automotive aftermarket industry landscape, including fleet management, OEMs, automotive distributors, and workshops, with knowledge of software workshops diagnostics solutions; Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, market research, and financial modeling; Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts and present findings to stakeholders at all levels of the organization; Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable recommendations and business strategies; Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to drive consensus and alignment; Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data visualization tools; experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and business intelligence platforms preferred.
