The digital product deployment organization consists of cross-functional teams with the people and skills needed to deliver our innovative digital products and solutions to patients and healthcare providers participating in clinical trials around the world. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a talented Senior IT Business Analyst with a strong background fromdigital productsin a health-tech company or pharma to join our Study deployment team. 

The SeniorBusiness Analyst will be responsible forextracting, translating and documenting clinical trial requirements into clear technical configuration specificationsfor ourdeployment teams. The Senior Business Analyst is the subject matter expert of the digital solution and worksclosely with our study implementation and cross-functional deployment teams as well as clinical operations, data management and regulatory affairs to ensure the solutions meet the requirements of our clinical trials. 

In the role you will work and provide support across the entireclinical trial lifecycle from early assessments of digital requirements to solution implementation, deployment, maintenance and closeout of the trials. You lead and contribute to the improvement of our processes and workflows, ensuring the deployment team can continue to scale and support a growing number of clinical trials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with clinical trial and implementation teams to extract, analyse and document the digital requirements of clinical trials and translating those into detailed technical specificationsthat ensure our digital solution meets the clinical trial objectiveand regulatory requirements.

Assess and analyse the digital needs for upcoming clinical studies and actively propose solutions and identify capability gaps

Serve as a subject matter expert on our digital solution and provide insights into the system capabilities, configuration options and practical application of its features in a clinical trial

Deliver business requirements and technical specifications in a clear and structured way by employing best practices for documentingrequirements and deliver the highest level of quality in your deliverables to our stakeholders and customers

Conduct risk assessment and impact analysis of new software releases, upgrades and changes

Support testing and validation activities to ensure the solutions meet all required quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements

Provide ongoing support and guidance to clinical trial and implementation teams during the deployment and post-implementation phases including addressing issues and implementing enhancements as needed.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of regulatory documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to the digital solution and its deployment processes.

Define standards, best practicesand drive improvements that reduce complexity and simplify our processes and workflow while maintaining the highest level of standard and quality. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in relevant information technology, life science or related field

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience as business analyst with focus on product development or deploymentof COTS/SaaS solutions in a complex regulated multi-national environment, preferably in pharma or health-tech

Proven experience of successfully gathering and translating business requirements into technical specifications for digital solutions used in clinical trials

Experience with products commonly used in clinical trials (eg. COTS solutions, EDS systems, CTMS, ePRO solutions) 

Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulations

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and customers at all levels

Proven experience of successfully deploying a variety of business analysis tools/techniques and writing requirements

Excellent business acumen and insights with sensitivity to environment

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

Master degree in relevant discipline

Formal certification in senior business analysis practices

Experience from Healthcare and Life Sciences, preferably with clinical trials

Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context

Experience of working in a regulated environment, ideally of delivering GxP and SaMD solutions
