What you'll be doing:

We are looking for a person for the position of Financial Analyst, we offer Employment contract via an external agency, for 1 year.
Facilitate on monthly accounting and forecasting for the UK Principal Company including liaison with subsidiary markets.
Alongside the Finance Manager, support the VMUP process ensuring consistency, accuracy and adherence to model principles
In light of breadth and scope of the Principal Company, act as business partner to markets, supply chain, tax and treasury as necessary.
Working with the Global and UK financial reporting team on a monthly basis to ensure all reporting requirements are met.

Key responsibilities:

Support with monthly accounting and forecasting for the UK Principal Company including all SOX considerations and liaison with subsidiary markets. This includes challenging actuals/forecast positions as provided by the seven distribution centres. Work closely with markets/Regional/Global FP & A to ensure accuracy of cash from ops.  Support with the review of the Statutory forecast process for the markets served by the Principle Company to ensure they achieve their target range and the Principle Company forecasts an accurate variable mark-up position. Assist the Finance Manager/ Senior Finance Analyst in partnering the Core 7 DC’s to improve forecast accuracy and, over time, performance as appropriate. Assist the Finance Manager/ Senior Finance Analyst in partnering with Supply Chain Finance to ensure they have accurate information to support their business partners. This will include COGs and branch costs – key drivers of operating margin. Support the Senior Finance Manager/Finance Manager in ensuring that requirements set by Global and UK financial reporting team; Global FP & A, Treasury and Tax on a monthly basis are met. 

Requirements:

Master degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Economy Technical accounting knowledge including US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley Extensive technical business, accounting and compliance knowledge Strong business analytics SQL & VBA skills would be beneficial to the role Very good English and both written and spoken
