Job Description

Tasks:

  • Direct Report to Data Protection and Information Security Officer of Bosch-internal corporate IT provider with worldwide responsibility 
  • Expansion of the data protection consulting service in the digitization environment 
  • Technical leader of the data protection consulting team 
  • Development and implementation of data protection related concepts and processes for improved quality and efficiency  
  • Legal advice and support for IT departments on individual data protection issues relating to the GDPR (e.g. admissibility and legality review, development of data protection concepts, implementation of risk analyses and data protection impact assessments) 
  • Drafting and negotiating data protection agreements with external service providers 
  • Worldwide responsibility for the record of processing activities  
  • Support of the departments in the implementation of Privacy by Design / Privacy by Default  
  • Assessment and advice on potential data protection violations and data subject requests 
  • Close collaboration with corporate governance departments 
  • Trainings for team members and IT departments 

Qualifications

Profile:

  • University degree in law 
  • 4-6 years of experience in consulting matters of data protection laws 
  • In-depth knowledge of and consulting expertise regarding the GDPR (preferably in a commercial law firm or consulting firm) 
  • Willingness to assume leadership responsibility, preferably experience as team lead 
  • Empathic and communicative personality 
  • Flexibility and willingness for worldwide consulting 
  • Hands-on and service mentality, solution orientation 
  • Proactive and autonomous mindset 
  • English skills C1 or C2 
  • Certification as data protection officer (optional) 
  • Knowledge / certification as auditor (optional)
